Badger has had very limited showing but has proven to be a real winner. He was shown as a Yearling at the Northwest Montana Fair where he won Grand Champion Stallion in Halter over all breeds. As a Two Year Old he was again shown at the Northwest Montana Fair and won Reserve Grand Champion Stallion in Halter over all breeds. In addition he was shown at open shows in Halter winning numerous Blue Ribbons.

With his breeding we expect Badger to throw foals that will excel in Halter and Pleasure type events both English and Western. His Grandsire on his Sires side, "Just Up In Smoke" literally has a World Class Show Record: Canadian Reserve National Champion Halter, 6th World Show Hunter Under Saddle, 5th World Show Open Western Riding and 2 Times NWCC Zone One Futurity Champion Hunter Under Saddle.

"Super Dry Ice", his Grandsire on his Dams side speaks for himself. He has so many Top Notch Honors that there is just too much to list here. Super Dry Ice has numorous Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion Halter wins as well as a Superior and ROM in Western Riding. See Badgers Pedigree for a complete list of Super Dry Ice accomplishments.

Badgers Great Grandsire on his Sires side, "Smokey Commander" was the 1981 and 1982 Hi-Point Quarter Horse Stallion WQHA, a Multiple Grand Champion Halter Stallion with an ROM in Halter. He is the Sire of Multiple Halter and Pleasure Futurity Winners. Smokey Commanders sire, "Smokey Music Bar" was Undefeated IBHA Reserve World Halter Champion and the Sire of AQHA Champion, Superior Performance and Halter Point Earning Offspring.

As you can see Badger comes with a long line of proven Halter and Pleasure Champions in his background. With Badgers exceptional conformation and outstanding pedigree full of World Champions, National Champions, APHA Champions and Futurity Champions we were very fortunate to have had the opportunity to purchase him in 2007. We are expecting great things from his foals and are looking forward to his first foal crop in 2009.

TRAINER TESTIMONIAL:  "I put 2 months training on this stallion for Pam and Rick and discovered that he was a very kind horse. He really likes people and is designed to fit in the English and Pleasure diciplines. He was easy to handle and be around. I think he will produce some really nice Pleasure foals.
