Bar

Here at "Regal Paints" we believe that your mare deserves the best of care while she visits our stallion. Therefore we built a brand new 100% "Horse Safe" corral for just that purpose. We LOVE our horses and don't want anything to injure them and figure that you feel the same way. I'm sure that your mare is as important to you as ours are to us. We want you to leave our place totally confident that your mare will be in good hands.

Our corral is built using old telephone poles and 4" X 6" posts. Each post is buried in the ground at a minimum of 3 feet. Some are closer to 4 feet. We have placed a 2" X 6" board on the top, in the middle and on the bottom. On top of the cross boards we have installed 2" X 4" Welded Wire". You will NOT find any Barbed Wire here!!! To finish it off we have electric wire around the entire fence line. See PHOTO above.

While your mare is staying with us she will be fed in a custom built feeder. See PHOTO above. We feed Alfalfa Hay mixed with Grass. The percentage varies however most of the time it is around 75% Alfalfa, 25% Grass. If your mare is not used to Alfalfa, you may want to bring some hay for her. Grain will be fed if you bring it for her as we do not feed are horses grain on a regular basis. We give ALL of our horses a Trace Mineral Salt Block, a Selenium Block and a Mineral Block. Your mare will be provided with that as well. Water is filled once a day in a 110 gallon rubber water trough. Again, this is done with the horses safety in mind. I prefer NOT to use metal troughs as they can get sharp edges on them and injure the horse.
