Just in case you couldn't already tell, I happen to really love fish. I guess it's pretty obvious isn't it? :) Actually this whole fish hobby thing happened quite by accident. I had never been interested in fish until I went to a company banquet. On each of the tables was a fish bowl with two little common Goldfish in it. The person who had a napkin with a yellow dot on it won the bowl of Goldfish. I bet I don't have to tell you whose napkin had the yellow dot on it, do I? Yup, it was me. These two little Goldfish is what got it all started.

At the present time we have a total of 6 aquariums housing 70+ freshwater tropical fish and Goldfish. Goldfish were my first and will always be my most favorite fish of all. My tanks consisted of the following: One 150 gallon, one 80 gallon, two 50 gallon, one 30 gallon and one 10 gallon.

As I learn about new diseases and how to treat them, I will add them to the list. When I get new fish that I've never had before I will be adding them to the "Types of Fish" pages. There is always some new fish out there that I just have to have. And of course we all encounter new diseases from time to time or learn improved newer treatments.
