Joey is plain and simply... one darn nice mare and we are sure glad that we had the opportunity to purchase her. We at Regal Paints do not take the purchase of a mare for our herd lightly. They have to pass our rigorous test of quality in all aspects... pedigree, confirmation, color, disposition, etc. And we are happy to say Joey passed that test with flying colors.

She has everything we look for in our breeding stock... straight legs, big strong feet and long legs, wide chest, huge hip, nice sloping shoulder, clean neck, deep deep heart girth, a pretty head and color to boot. Need I say more? I think her photos tell the story!

Joey is an excellent pleasure and trail horse. We bred her to Badger so that we can enhance these qualities. With his background of pleasure and her abilities we feel that this is a good cross. Her first foal out of Badger, Cools Dry Ice Rebel, is tall and built like her. He is a beautiful Red Dun with a gorgeous head. He will make an superb English Pleasure horse or a Jumper... perhaps even Dressage as he is so calm and laid back.
