Nugget is one well built put togetther mare. She is a straight legged, large boned mare with a beautiful head and a nice big hip. She has a wide chest and a deep heart girth. Nugget is very flashy and has lots of chrome. She has a very calm disposition and nothing spooks her. Of all the horses we own she craves the most attention. We started saddle breaking Nugget last year. The 3rd time we put the saddle on her we got on her. 15 minutes later it was as if she had been ridden for months. She was backing and doing anything we asked of her. She never once even hinted that she would buck. All of this was done WITHOUT a bit in her mouth. Just a halter!!! She learns anything you ask of her instantly. This is a quality that we expect her to pass on to her offspring. Nuggets sire was 2000 and 2001 Reserve High Point Stallion at the MPHC Stallion Offspring Futurity. His offspring consistently are placing 1st and Second in the show ring. They are being shown successfully by children and adults. In addition they are being used as pleasure, ranch and mountain horses. Nugget has some pretty impressive bloodlines. She has "GO MAN GO" right off her papers. Go Man Go was the 1955-1957 World Champion Quarter Running Horse, 1955-1957 Champion Quarter Running Stallion, 1955 Champion Quarter Running 2 year old Colt, 1956 Champion Quarter Running 3 year old Colt. He was the Leading Sire of Money Earners - 1971, 1972, 1976 and 1977. Blondy Queen is right on her papers. Blondy Queen is the dam of the imfamous Blondys Dude. She also has Miss Meyers - 1953 World Champion Running Horse and Champion Mare and 1953 High Money Earner. Her bloodlines go back to Wimpy, Top Deck, Sugar Bars, Three Bars, Leo and King. On the Paint side she has Bonnington Express on her papers. Bonnington Express is the Sire of multiple Futurity winners and Money Earners in Halter, Longe Line, Pleasure and Reining. Two of his most impressive offspring are a 1998 filly, Expressive Smooth Jet the 1998 Northwest Classic High Point Breeding Stock Filly and another filly who was the 1998 Northwest Classic APHA two time Grand Champion and Muliple Futurity Winner at Halter.            Nugget will be bred for the first time this year to our new stallion. Look for her foal in the coming spring. Her foal should be very flashy. I would expect it to be a carbon copy of both her and Tank. If you look at Tanks and her photos you will see that they could be TWINS! They look so much alike that when they are together in the field I have a VERY hard time telling them apart.
